This homemade peach lemonade is not only super easy to make, it’s refined sugar free, sweetened with a homemade honey simple syrup.
This homemade lemonade had been on mind for while, when, during one of my weekly thrift store visits to the kitchenware and home goods section, I saw the most perfect lemonade pitcher for $5 (approximately). Also, did I mention, it has a green handle, and green is my colour (aka my kitchen cabinets (if they ever get finished...jk but also not jk) going to be green, my rug is green, my couch is green…idk it just happened organically). Of course, I had to buy it. I brought it home and unpacked it on the kitchen counter.
When my daughter came home from daycare later that day, and eventually got herself into the learning tower, she immediately spotted the pitcher on the counter. She is nothing if not discerning. She exclaimed, “ohhhh mommmyyyy! I love your new pitcher. It’s for lemonade,” and little did she know, it really was.
I told her that was my plan, and asked her where she learned about that – Little Bear, of course. Her favorite show. She lives in her very own version of a Little Bear world and I love that for her. Anyways, we quickly decided on a peach lemonade, and a few short days later, I made it while she was daycare. She loved it. I loved it. It turned out DELICIOUS. So here we are!

I already have a regular ol’ lemonade recipe on my site, and you cannot go wrong with that, but I did have a few large peaches waiting to be used up so it felt appropriate to add them to this batch of homemade peach lemonade and get y’all an updated version for my oft-forgotten site (sorry, life).
I would love to start getting back into recipe creation and sharing on here a bit more consistently if the Kitchen Gods allow it (aka Royal, he’s the one doing my kitchen). We’ve made enough progress that I can definitely cook and bake in there now, which is very exciting. I have a lovely counter, you can see it in the photos – it’s a white quartz with very faint veining.
Anyways, this homemade peach lemonade is a bit more time-consuming than the average non-refined-sugar-free version because you do need to make your honey simple syrup but honestly, if you’re going through the process of squeezing 6 or 7 lemons and blending your peaches, what’s a few minutes of water and honey on the stovetop? It’s literally that quick to make simple syrup with honey, you’re just waiting for the honey to dissolve which takes approximately three minutes.

OH also two pro tips: if you have extra lemonade leftover that you won’t be drinking any time soon, simple add it to your popsicle moulds and freeze it – perfect toddler-friendly summertime treat. If you want something for the grown-ups, use this lemonade as a mixer for some homemade sangria – simply add in some wine and bubbly water too if you have it, mix and voila. A delicious adult beverage.
homemade peach lemonade (refined sugar free version): ingredients
honey simple syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup honey
peach lemonade
- 3 large peaches
- 6-7 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 8 lemons, approximately 200 ml of lemon juice
- 4 cups of water (add more depending on desired sweetness)
homemade peach lemonade (refined sugar free version): how to
honey simple syrup
- start by preparing your simple syrup, stir the honey and water in a pot together, and place over medium-low heat.
- stir until the honey is dissolved into the water, approximately three minutes, and set aside.
peach lemonade
- start by washing and slicing up your peaches into chunks – you can leave the skin on.
- add to your blender (I use a Vitamix), and add 6-7 tbsp of water and 1 tbsp of honey. blend until well combined.
- depending how strong your blender is, you may want to strain the peach juice through a fine mesh sieve. I did not need to strain mine – it is thick but will thin out with the lemon juice and water. set aside.
- for your lemons, to get the most juice out of each, roll it along the cutting board before slicing and squeezing. squeeze all your lemons until you have around 200 ml of juice.
- pour the lemon juice in a large pitcher, and add in the honey simply syrup mixture, the peach mixture, as well as four cups of cold water. if you find it too sweet, you can always add a fifth cup (or start with three, and taste test from there). i also added some thin slices of lemon and peaches to the pitcher.
- place the pitcher covered in the fridge and allow to cool before serving. mix again before serving (you may need to mix again after letting it sit in the fridge for any amount of time).
- serve with a fresh slice of lemon and peach as garnish.
