part 8 | renovating a small kitchen on a small budget when the going gets tough i go to mexico 😅🏖️🌴 jk but also im in mexico for a work retreat this week and so royal is home alone with two kids and no kitchen (!!!) (can you imagine 🤪send him ur prayers 🙏) (and one of the kids was sick!!) anyways all that to say we had another slow week on our kitchen reno, becuz royal is doing every single thing himself 😤 however we had some small wins such as finally painting and installing the shelf that goes in the lower cabinet base as well as the built in cabinet shelf above the fridge (still no doors). meanwhile he also finished a few remaining pieces of tile and will be grouting so follow along next week to see the FINISHED tile fr as well as potentially even counters if the counter guy follows up again 🤞🤞🤞 kitchen renovation • small kitchen • renovation series • home reno • 1960s home

part 7 | renovating a small kitchen on a small budget the saga continues, and remains unfinished in every way lol😅 the counter we chose cracked on its way to the distributor, there wasn’t enough paint and when we went back to sherwin williams they didn’t have the proper base in store (!!) so we’re waiting for it to arrive this week before we finish painting the walls, so yeah, it’s a lot of almost-finished pieces to the kitchen rn. including the floors lol!! so hopefully this week some of those almost-finished parts of the kitchen become fully finished and then it’s on to cabinet doors and .., other stuff lol idk ask royal 😅🙃 follow along to see✌️ kitchen renovation • small kitchen • small kitchen renovation • renovation series • small home
