Description
Your Everyday Table
A gluten free, grain free cookbook designed for your everyday table.
If you’ve ever stood in your kitchen at 5 PM wondering what you can make that’s gut-friendly, family-approved, and realistic, then this book is for you.
Your Everyday Table is a 54-page digital cookbook featuring 30 exclusive gluten free and grain free recipes (not found on my website), plus a practical 7-day meal plan designed to help you use leftovers intentionally and reduce decision fatigue throughout the week.
This is not a novelty cookbook filled with complicated flour blends or hard-to-find ingredients. It’s a collection of real-life staples developed over three years (and two maternity leaves!), tested in my busy family kitchen, and refined through seasons of dietary change, gut healing, and motherhood.
Why I created this cookbook
This e-book has evolved quite a bit from it’s first iteration, which, if you’ve been following me for awhile, you know was originally a follow-up to the Grain Freee Zine.
If you’re new here: the Grain Freee Zine shared tips for eating and essentials on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, as well as recipes, many of which were already found on my website, and a few exclusives such as how I make my yogurt in the Instant Pot — it’s a free zine that I will still happily provide you a copy of, simply reach out to me here and let me know and I’ll e-mail it over!
Your Everyday Table evolved into its own beast, deserving of its own name, just as my diet and my life changed drastically since the first Zine. Among those changes: I lost my period due to hypothalamic amenorrhea, I regained my period, I varied my way of eating in an effort to conquer HA, I introduced new foods into my diet, I had two kids, you get the idea…life got hectic!
Where a lot of my early recipes were focused around sweet treats, I soon found myself gravitating towards dinner – because I was constantly asking myself (and anyone else who was around, for that matter): what should I make for dinner?? What could I make that was still whole foods-based, still healthy, still appealing to a 2 year old (and now, a 10 month old), as well as my partner? It was no longer about me alone, but two small human beings, too!
I needed meals that were:
- Whole foods based
- Gut friendly
- Appealing to toddlers
- Nourishing for adults
- Flexible enough for different dietary needs
Your Everyday Table was born from this shift. It is a way to align your lifestyle with your family needs, it’s a way to ease the stress of everyday decision-making by providing you with a host of dinner recipes that are still good for you and your gut while also being realistic for others (whoever they might be) in your life. Of course, you will also find recipes that are suitable for dessert, snacks and breakfast as well, but the mental load of dinner became a central focus to this gluten free, grain free cookbook.
Every recipe is adaptable and repeatable
Whether you’re fully grain free, gluten free, or somewhere in between, there are options in Your Everyday Table for YOU. Many bowl recipes include swaps like cauliflower rice, potatoes, squash, or traditional rice so you can tailor each meal to your household.
These recipes are quite literally for your everyday table– they are recipes that have become staples in our meal rotation, the Korean-inspired beef bowls (page 1) are my girls’ favourite dinner, while the everyday chicken spice rub (page 13) is my go-to easy, fail-proof way to make chicken. The braised beef short ribs (page 14) are a family favourite as well, we love it for a cozy Friday or Saturday night meal and the kids devour it just as much as the adults too. Not to mention, the various iterations of bowls you can throw together with toppings to your liking make it easy to cater to each person’s unique taste.
Finally, I share my secret to building the perfect salad every time, which, if you follow me on Instagram or TikTok, you know is a big part of my daily life – and not to brag or anything, but my toddler actually loves salad too. So I think we’re doing something right!

If you’re on the fence
Just know that these recipes were tested in order to become household staples. These recipes, while still catering to dietary restrictions or lifestyle decisions, are made with accessible, whole ingredients. They are also made to have leftovers. I’m not a big meal prep person, but I will take a day or two of leftovers (which, I guess, in a way, IS meal prep!) – so you will see that the dinners in this book are designed to be large enough that at least ONE meal the following day is covered for you. It’s one less thing to think about it!
I hope you add these recipes to your everyday table today!
